SHAH ALAM, Aug 15 — Batu Tiga assemblyman Danial Al-Rashid Haron is determined to solve infrastructure and flooding problems in his constituency.
He plans to meet with Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) representatives to discuss the matter soon.
“Although I am a new face, I will utilise my 15 years of experience in the strategic corporate field and politics, and as an MBSA councillor, to solve a few issues in this constituency.
“I will contact MBSA for a briefing on infrastructure problems and flood mitigation plans in Batu Tiga,” he said when contacted.
Danial said he is grateful the people gave him the mandate to administer the area, and is determined not to take Batu Tiga residents’ trust for granted.
“God willing, I will frequently meet and greet the residents because I believe leadership … begins with caring about the people’s needs,” he said.
Danial won with a 3,382-vote majority with his 29,064 ballots against Perikatan Nasional’s Datuk Seri Rina Harun (25,682 votes) and Muda’s Cheda Razak (1,908 votes).
