SUBANG JAYA, July 7 – The Selangor government has spent RM4 million through the Kinrara state assembly office to construct and upgrade over 27 public facilities since 2018.

Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han said the allocation was aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the constituents in the area.

Among the primary focus was to improve road infrastructure, including the development of a new route from Bandar Kinrara 5 (BK5) to Taman Puncak Kinrara (TPK), he said.

"We have upgraded the Jalan Pipit intersection at a cost of RM400,000, benefiting over 30,000 residents and road users, particularly in the Kinrara constituency," he told a press conference at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MBSJ) Hall in Bandar Puchong Jaya, here, today.

Ng further noted that the construction of the Missing Link TPK-BK5 project is currently in progress, with an estimated cost of RM2.8 million.

It is expected completion by the end of the year.

He said these efforts were undertaken to address the growing traffic issues in Puchong, which is experiencing rapid development.

Ng said the allocated funds were also utilised to build a basketball court in Taman Puncak Kinrara (RM180,000), repair a basketball court, jogging track, and playground facilities in Taman Belatuk (RM69,500),and install solar lights in Taman Tempua (RM20,000).

His office also oversaw the construction of pedestrian walkways along Jalan Kenari (RM38,000), motorcycle parking spaces in Pangsapuri TKK Fasa A and Pangsapuri Melur (RM78,000), and a children's playground in Taman Tempua (RM60,000).
