SHAH ALAM, July 5 – The Selangor Asean Business Conference (SABC) 2023 is set to feature renowned panellists from prominent investment organisations across the region, making the event an ideal platform for the exchange of new ideas, fostering innovation, and facilitating valuable networking opportunities.
In a statement today, Invest Selangor Berhad chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari said the panellists will consist of organisations including the Foreign Investment Agency Vietnam (FIA), the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI), the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida).
He said these organisations will be able to provide updates on the investment landscape and opportunities in their respective countries, as well as discuss the broader potential of cross-border investment within the Asean region.
“In addition, we are also expecting the conference to receive a larger audience from Asean countries, as it is being actively promoted via media exposures and roadshows in key countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Singapore,” Hasan said.
SABC is part of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2023, which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in the second half of this year.
The international trade expo is scheduled to take place from October 19 to October 22. Concurrently, SABC will be held from October 19 to October 20.
Under the theme Selangor, Epicentre of Asean: Leveraging Diversity, Catalysing
Opportunity, SABC will serve as a dynamic platform for thought-provoking discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities among participants.
