SERDANG, June 19 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari expressed his appreciation to all the volunteers of Team Selangor for their relentless efforts in providing assistance to the people of the state during times of adversity.
Amirudin also commended the volunteer group for actively implementing various programmes and community services.
"This team of volunteers has been a support system for the people in times of need.
"You have proven the resilience of our state through the dedicated services and contributions you have provided," he said.
He made these remarks during the Team Selangor 2023 Celebration Event held at the Malaysian Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) yesterday.
Amirudin also highlighted the vital role played by the volunteers from Team Selangor in promoting the well-being of the people and assisting the state government in facing challenging situations.
"I believe that in order to move forward and make the state stronger, we need the collective efforts of all the people.
"Yes, we have village heads, grassroots leaders, and state assembly members, but we also need volunteers who contribute to help Selangor overcome various challenging situations," he said.
