SHAH ALAM, June 5 — Rawang state assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat has spent over RM12,000 for the purchase of wheelchairs for 50 disabled individuals in his state constituency.
He said the wheelchairs are provided based on requests from residents, with priority given to those who are truly eligible.
"We hope this contribution will be able to lighten the recipients' burdens and facilitate their movements by using wheelchairs.
"Those seeking to apply for a wheelchair or other (forms of) assistance may do so by coming to the Rawang state constituency's community service centre and bringing along documents like identification cards and hospital letters," he told SelangorKini.
