SHAH ALAM, May 19 — The Jelajah Ehsan Rakyat (JER) affordable basic necessities sales program will continue in nine locations tomorrow.

Managed by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), the programme starts at 10am and will be held at Kampung Sungai Buaya in Morib, Taman Desa Vista in Sungai Pelek, and Dewan Parit Enam in Sungai Besar.

Running until 1pm, JER will also take place at Masjid An-Nur Saujana Utama in Paya Jaras, Dataran Meru in Meru, Dataran Tanah Lesen Parit Baru in Sungai Air Tawar, and Dewan Serbaguna MBSJ Putra Permai in Seri Serdang.

Simultaneously, it will also be held at a field in front of Balai Polis Bandar Seri Ehsan in Dengkil and at Jalan Damar Merah in Pendamar Indah.

JER offers standard chickens at RM10 per piece, fresh solid beef (RM10 per pack), Grade B eggs (RM10 per tray), mackerel fish (RM6 per pack), 5kg cooking oil (RM25), and 5kg rice (RM10).

The initiative has benefitted over two million Selangor residents during its three-month implementation period from September to December of last year.

Due to the encouraging public response, the state government has expanded the sale of basic goods at a discounted price to 1,200 locations, starting from January 16th onwards.
