SHAH ALAM April 12 — The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) donated a number of electrical appliances and daily necessities to the Kasih Templer Autism Community Rehabilitation Centre (PPDK) in Taman Seri Melati on Monday (April 10)
Its corporate department's deputy director Ahmad Fauzi Ishak said the donations were handed over under the MPS Ihya' Ramadan programme, in cooperation with the Social Security Organization (Socso).
"During the ceremony, a total of 49 people, including students and PPDK guardians, received Raya clothes and RM50 in duit Raya per person, from MPS President Datuk Mohd Yazid Sairi.
"The Socso representative also donated RM3,000 in cash to Kasih Templer PPDK chairman Datuk Saiful Bahri Abd Hadi," he said when contacted today.
Ahmad Fauzi added the council hopes the donations will help to ameliorate the expenses borne by the PPDK management and bring festive cheer to its residents.
