GOMBAK, March 15 — The Sungai Tua state constituency will distribute 600 Jom Shopping vouchers worth RM200 to residents for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities, by the middle of the Ramadan fasting month.
Its community service centre manager Maimon Misman said the focus will be on families who have yet to receive any assistance.
"We work in tandem with local leaders to collect data, before we filter families who are truly eligible and who have not received other forms of assistance.

"We plan to distribute these vouchers in the middle of Ramadan, or at least within a fortnight before Aidilfitri begins," she told SelangorKini.
Earlier on, Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said the Jom Shopping Perayaan voucher rate would be increased from RM100 to RM200 per family.
Overall, the state government has estimated that up to 82,400 families will benefit from the programme, with a RM16.8 million allocation.
