SHAH ALAM, March 15 — The state government has prepared an industry tourism directory via Tourism Selangor, for the promotion of 150 products under 10 categories in nine districts.
State executive councillor for tourism Hee Loy Sian said the facility provides assistance to tourists in obtaining accurate information, which can be used to visit interesting places in Selangor
"The categories include small-and medium-enterprises, agriculture, manufacturing, creative, education, galleries and museums, street art, spas, as well as food and beverages," he said.
Hee was responding to a query from Balakong state assemblyman Wong Siew Ki during the State Legislative Assembly sitting earlier today, adding the directory can be downloaded at www.selangor.travel.
The councillor said cooperation will also be extended to various parties for the development of tourism products, and to carry out continuous promotion for both the domestic and international markets.
"In fact, Tourism Selangor also provides industrial tourism packages that are interconnected with existing packages in the market," he said.
