SHAH ALAM, March 2 — The application period for the Menteri Besar’s Special Scholarship, which opened on January 26, has been extended until March 14.
The State Government Secretary's Office said the extension will also cover applications for Overseas Variable Loans.
"The Selangor State Scholarship Fund (TKWBNS) has opened scholarship and study loan offers to sponsor education abroad (at the 100 best universities) from January 26 to March 1.
"It is our pleasure to announce that this offer period has been extended until Tuesday, March 14," it said in a Facebook post.
Applications and criteria can be reviewed at https://danapendidikan.selangor.gov.my/, or contact 03-5521 2275, 03-5544 7543 and email tkwbns@selangor.gov.my to do so.
The application is for a fully-sponsored scholarship with a variable loan, to pursue one's studies at the world's 100 top universities.
The TKWBNS allocation is offered to Selangor students who wish to continue their studies, ranging from the bachelor's degree level to the doctorate level.
