SHAH ALAM, Jan 7 — The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) is offering a general assessment tax rebate to customers who make their payments online.
It said the rebate is valid from January 1 to April 30.
"Customers who pay their assessment taxes online are eligible to receive a RM3 tax rebate for one period, while the rebate for payments of a year is RM8," it said in a Facebook post yesterday.
Further enquiries can be made at MPHS' Treasury Department by contacting 03-6064 1331 ext 135/151.
The council will no longer issue and send assessment taxes, starting on the second period of the year.
It said taxpayers can make payments online at https://mphs.gov.my either on an annual basis or twice a year for each period.
