SHAH ALAM, Dec 21 — Infrasel Sdn Bhd (Infrasel) has added more canvases on the slopes of Section 14,000, near the location of the landslide tragedy at Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Batang Kali, on Monday (December 19).
On Twitter, the state road maintenance company said more crusher run (rough stones) have also been spread on road shoulders at the rubble site.
“Infrasel is also repairing the water diversion flow at the landslide area,” it said.
Previously, Infrasel installed canvases on the slopes of Section 13,200 to reduce the risk of landslides which was carried out by 12 staff on the same day, from 10am to 12.40pm.
A landslide occurred at 2.42am on Friday (December 16) at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Batang Kali which saw 26 perished while 61 victims were rescued and seven others still missing. It was reported that 94 people were involved in the incident.
