PETALING, Dec 15 — In wake of the enthusiastic public response from Kinrara residents, its state assemblyman Ng Sze Han has promised to book more slots for the Jelajah Ehsan Rakyat (JER) 2.0 roadshow programme next year.
He said information has yet to be provided on how many slots have been allocated for each state constituency, but added he will try to apply for as much as possible due to the area’s high population density.
Ng also said the programme has run 13 times in Kinrara to date, which has been well received by the community.
“This year, a total of 15 JER programmes were held in the Kinrara state constituency, including two more to be held next week on December 19 and December 20, at Jalan Puteri 7/1 Begonia and around Taman Puchong Indah.
“In all instances when it took place, JER was met with good response from residents as can save on their expenses and living costs, thus lightening their burdens,” he said after inspecting JER’s progress at Jalan PUJ 3/2 in Taman Puncak Jalil earlier today.
Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said between RM10 and RM15 million in allocations was provided for the continuation of JER 2.0 for three months, starting on January 15 next year.
