Water levels at eight rivers in Selangor shows receding trend

SHAH ALAM, Nov 17 — The water levels of eight rivers in Selangor are receding while two others are rising and have exceeded the warning level, as of 1.45pm today.

According to the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID), the rivers with rising water levels include Sungai Langat in Bukit Changgang and Sungai Selangor in Rantau Panjang.

Meanwhile the rivers with receding water levels include Sungai Binjai in Pekan Meru, Sungai Rasau in Taman Desa Kemuning, Sungai Langat (Dengkil and Jenderam Hilir), Sungai Semenyih (Pekan Bangi Lama), Sungai Kandis (Kampung Jawa), Sungai Bernam (Kampung Sungai Selisek), Sungai Klang (Taman Sri Muda), and Sungai Labu in Kampung Salak Tinggi.
