SHAH ALAM, Nov 12 — The Drainage and Irrigation Department has issued a notice of preparedness for possible flash floods in five districts across the state, in the event significant rainfall continues.
In a Facebook post, it said the districts include Klang, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Petaling and Sepang.
Klang’s areas include the city, Kapar, Pandamaran and its surroundings. In Kuala Langat, it is Kelanang, Chodoi, Jenjarom, Tanjong Dua Belas, Telok Panglima Garang, and the surrounding area.
In Kuala Selangor, the areas are Pasangan, Bestari Jaya and its surrounding while in Petaling, they are Shah Alam, Bukit Raja, Damansara, Batu Tiga, Hicom, as well as Sungai Buloh and its surrounding area.
Meanwhile in Sepang, the listed areas include Dengkil, Tanjung Mas, Sepang and its surrounding area.
