SEPANG, Oct 30 — A total of 4,665 units are planned to be built in Serenia City, Sepang, from 2022 to 2038.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari had witnessed the symbolic key-handover ceremony to the affordable housing project during the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang roadshow in the district, here today.
Sime Darby Property Sdn Bhd as the project manager, represented by chief operating officer (Municipal Development) Apollo Leong Yong Kuang, handed over the keys to Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) executive director Datuk Juhari Ahmad at KIP Semtral, Kota warisan.
Since the project was first initiated in Serenia City last year, a total of 432 units of Rumah Selangorku are under construction and its owners can start moving in next year.
At the same event, Amirudin also handed over offer letters to 10 type D Rumah Selangorku buyers for Amalia 1 and Amalia 2 in Sepang.
The Menteri Besar also witnessed the handover of the management of 57 Smart Rent Scheme units in Sepang by LPHS, represented by Juhari, to Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor Sdn Bhd (PHSSB), represented by general manager Wan Mohd Fadzli Mohd Yusoff.
Throughout 2018 until November 2021, a total of 24,428 Rumah Selangorku units were successfully completed and offered to residents.
Type C houses have the most units completed with 9,294 units, followed by Type D (7,822 units), Type B (4,122 units), Type A (2,019 units) and Type E (1,171 units).
