SABAK BERNAM, Oct 16 — Pakatan Harapan Selangor stands a bright chance of garnering most of the seats in the state during the upcoming 15th general election (GE15) and state election (PRN).
Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari, speaking as Pakatan Selangor's chairman, said he is confident this will be the case during a press conference after officiating the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang roadshow for the district yesterday.
"We are confident that Pakatan stands a good chance in winning a majority of the parliamentary seats, as well as the State Legislative Assembly seats later on," he said.
Last week, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the dissolution of the Parliament to make way for GE15.
On October 5, the Pakatan presidential council said the states of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Penang under its administration will not dissolve their respective state legislative assemblies in the event GE15is held this year.
Selangor has a total of 22 Parliamentary seats and 56 state legislative assembly seats.
