SHAH ALAM, Sept 24 — The Jelajah Ehsan Rakyat affordable sales programme offering daily necessities continues in nine state constituencies tomorrow, from 9am until 1pm.
It will be held in several locations within the state constituencies of Permatang, Rawang, Sungai Tua, Hulu Kelang, Lembah Jaya, Paya Jaras, Meru, Tanjung Sepat and Dengkil.
The programme offers whole standard chicken at RM10, fresh solid beef at RM10 per pack, grade B chicken eggs at RM10 per tray, alongside mackerel and selayang fish at RM6 per pack, 5 kg cooking oil (RM250 and 5 kg rice (RM10).
Selangor has allocated an additional RM10 million to continue the Jualan Ehsan Rakyat in all 56 state constituencies involving 160 locations from September 6 to December 6.
The initiative, managed by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) aimed to alleviate the people’s burden due to rising costs of food and has benefitted 80,000 people since it began in December last year.
