Free health screening continues in Sungai Tua, Gombak Setia today

SHAH ALAM, July 31 — The free health screening programme, Selangor Saring continues today in Padang Awam Batu Caves for Sungai Tua and Gombak Setia constituents.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the programme will conduct health checks to detect three categories of diseases including non-communicable diseases, cancer and eye problem.

“Free health screening for Sungai Tua and Gombak Setia constituents this weekend. To participate, register via the SELangkah app,” he said on Facebook.

Amirudin said the health screening is held in conjunction with the Selangor Penyayang roadshow.

The state government has allocated RM3.4 million for the success of Selangor Saring which will benefit 39,000 residents, especially individuals with a history of family medicine, obesity and unhealthy lifestyle.

The programme, which runs until September 4, offers prostate, ocular, cervical, and breast cancer screenings, as well as occult or colorectal faecal blood testing.
