SHAH ALAM, July 13 — Selangor entrepreneurs are welcome to apply for the i-Bisnes finance programme run by the Hijrah Selangor Foundation (Hijrah), which offers funding up to RM50,000 to support business growth.
Hijrah said in a statement on Facebook that the funding programme is available to all business sectors and that more information could be obtained by visiting www.hijrahselangor.com or by contacting any of its 20 branches.
Applications also can be made via http://mikrokredit.selangor.gov.my/e-hijrah/login.
“The i-Bisnes provides business financing up to RM50,000 to help the small and medium-sized entrepreneurs access their rolling capital with simplified documentation and conditions,” the agency said.
As of April, some 2,299 entrepreneurs had received funding under the scheme, totaling RM965,000.
The state government had allocated RM120 million under the 2022 Selangor Budget to support the entrepreneurs, in addition to establishing a new Hijrah plan that offers financing up to RM100,000.
In addition the i-Bisnes, Hijrah offers the Zero to Hero, Niaga Darul Ehsan, Go Digital, i-Lestari and i-Bermusim financing, all of which contribute to the empowerment the state’s entrepreneurial community.
