SHAH ALAM, June 10 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari congratulated the Selangor Pavilion at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2022, which attracted 10,000 visitors in the first three days.
He said the encouraging response is an opportunity for visitors to obtain information on state government initiatives.
“Congratulations to the Selangor Pavilion at KLIBF 2022 which received a very encouraging response of getting 10,000 visitors during the first three days of the event. This is an opportunity for all to get information related to state government initiatives,” he said in a Facebook post.
The Selangor Pavilion at KLIBF 2022 which is currently taking place at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTCKL) from 10am to 10pm provides various information on the state government’s initiatives.
A total of 19 organisations are involved in the programme, including Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI, Tourism Selangor, KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM), Yayasan Hijrah Selangor and the Selangor Malay Customs and Heritage Corporation (Padat)
Also involved are agencies including the Selangor Technical Skills Development Center (STDC), Yayasan Selangor, Universiti Selangor (Unisel) and Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (Kuis).
KILBF 2022 which opened on June 3 will end this Sunday after a two-year delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is expected to attract up to one million visitors during the 10-day event.
