GOMBAK, May 17 — The Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses organised by the Selangor government which tours all nine districts provided an opportunity for the state's top leaders to reach out to the people and understand current issues.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said this can be seen when the Selangor State Secretary, his deputy, State Financial Officer and the Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI went down to the ground to participate in the event.

"This tour is not just about showing gratitude for the waning pandemic and the reopening of the economy as well as the transition to the endemic phase.

“In fact, this tour also gives a chance to evaluate the (state’s) planning that is planned every year. For example, I will go down to the ground this July to introduce the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang Programme which is on strengthening human values within the community,” he said.
