SHAH ALAM, May 16 — Selangor Workers’ Empowerment Unit (UPPS) employment roadshow programme JobCare is scheduled to take place in Hulu Langat on May 21.
The initiative with the Social Security Organisation (Socso) offers nearly 3,000 job opportunities to the people of Selangor.
A total of 10 series of tours at the district level have been planned for the programme that started on February 26 and is scheduled to end on June 25.
JobCare is one of the state government's efforts to help the low, medium and high skilled workers who lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic gain new sources of income.
The programme, which involved 15 participating companies in various sectors, is expected to reduce the unemployment rate in Selangor.

1. Hulu Langat – Dewan Demesne (May 21)
2. Setapak – Dewan Serbaguna Air Panas (May 22 and 23)
3. Gombak – Dewan Taman Gombak (June 4)
4. Tanjong Karang – Dewan Dato’ Hormat (June 11 and 12)
5. Kuala Langat – Dewan Banting Baru (June 18)
6. Sabak Bernam – Dewan Sri Bernam (June 25)
