SHAH ALAM, April 12 — The transition to the endemic phase nationwide has seen an increase in visitors to the Raja Tun Uda Library at Section 13 early this month.

Selangor Public Library Corporation (PPAS) director Datin Paduka Mastura Muhamad said the library recorded some 2,000 visitors every weekend compared to only 400 before this.

"Before the pandemic hit between 5,000 to 8,000 visitors would visit every week but this dropped to 400. Alhamdulilah it has since increased to between 1,500 and 2,000 visitors.

"On weekdays it has since gone up to between 700 and 1,000 visitors," she told SelangorKini earlier today.

Mastura added the standard operating procedures only require visitors to wear face masks and scan the MySejahtera QR code before entering the premise.

She was speaking at the 'Jom Baca Bersama 10 minit' programme which was officiated by PPAS' deputy chairman Maszlee Malik in the parking lot of the Raja Tun Uda Library.
