KUALA SELANGOR, April 12 — Some 2,000 staff and students of the University of Selangor (Unisel) enjoyed a fast-breaking meal with Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari as part of the Majlis Iftar Perdana earlier this evening.
Amirudin arrived at Dataran Konvo Unisel of Unisel's Bestari Jaya campus at 6.45pm, accompanied by its president and vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Mohammad Redzuan Othman.
Also in attendance were state executive councillor for Islamic general religious affairs Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni and Bukit Melawati state assemblyman Juwairiya Zulkifli.
The Menteri Besar also performed the Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers with a congregation at the Masjid Unisel Bestari Jaya.
