SHAH ALAM, March 24 — Selangor citizens are reminded to download the Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) mobile app as payments of parking fees in the state will be conducted digitally beginning April 1.
Smart Selangor on Facebook said the use of e-coupons would ease the payment process and had assured that the transactions are secured.
“Download the SSP app, which is easier, faster and secure!” it said on Facebook.
The steps to use e-coupons are as follows:
- Pay the parking fees and top-up credit via the SSP app or;
- Pay the parking fees via nearest e-coupon agents and;
- Top-up credit at 7-Eleven, 99 Speedmart and MyPOSpay

The Selangor administration had phased out the use of scratch parking coupons and implemented e-coupons via the SSP app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The scratch parking coupons are still in use until the end of the month to allow users to finish up the coupons they have in hand. Anused coupons can be redeemed after March.
