Selvax: Over 12,000 individuals who completed vaccination yet to receive certs

SHAH ALAM, March 18 — Approximately 12,604 who completed both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination via the Vaksin Selangor (Selvax) programme have yet to receive their MySejahtera vaccination certificate.

State executive councillor for public health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the number was obtained from the Langkah Masuk Dengan Selamat (SELangkah) database, as of March 14.

She said the 12,604 individuals constitute 1.84 per cent of the total number who were vaccinated, a majority of whom have already received their certificates, which stand at 664,354 individuals or 97.24 per cent.

"For recipients who have yet to receive their certificates, they can contact support on the SELangkah app, which has direct access to the MySejahtera Helpdesk," Dr Siti Mariah said during the winding-up of the State Legislative Assembly earlier today.

She added among the factors for the delay is due to the difference in information in the identification documents, such as the identification card numbers or contact number used when registering with SELangkah and MySejahtera.

"Regarding the issue of charges levied on each MySejahtera certificate for Selvax recipients, further discussion will be held between MySejahtera app users and the Selangor State Public Health Standing Committee, to refine the matter," Dr Siti Mariah said.

The councillor was responding to a query from Bandar Utama state assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin, who questioned the delay in vaccination certificates and the charges for each certificate to recipients.
