KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 — Shopee has launched its Chinese New Year (CNY) sale, offering Huat best deals and discounts to Malaysians, ongoing till February 2.
In a statement today, the e-commerce platform called on Malaysians to have an auspicious Year of the Tiger by getting CNY deals with an enjoyable online shopping experience while staying safe during the pandemic.
The sale offers free shipping to the customers with a minimum purchase of RM8 and 88 per cent off bonus for stocking up their CNY goods, as well as stand a chance to win RM8,888 Ang Pow when playing the Shopee Fortune Quiz on the Shopee App at 8pm daily and answer five questions correctly.
In addition, from now to February 7, ShopeePay users also stand a chance to win up to 8,888 Shopee coins when they transfer money using the e-Ang Pow feature to families and friends.
The statement said users may also enjoy up to RM8 cashback and earn up to 12 per cent coins cashback with a minimum spend of RM25 when transacting with ShopeePay at selected merchants such as Caltex, MyNews and Blackwhale.
“With a minimum top-up of RM30 into the ShopeePay wallet, users also stand to win up to 88,888 in Shopee coins,” the statement said.
It said, from Jan 25 to February 2, shoppers will also get 10 per cent off with the purchase of CNY staples such as Ribena, abalone and Mandarin oranges by forming a group of three with families and friends in the spirit of togetherness.
Shoppers also get a chance to enjoy Hu Hu Huat deals up to 50 per cent off plus all-day free deliveries until Feb 6 for mouth-watering deals from ShopeeFood.
Shopee also called on its users to tune in to Shopee’s CNY TV Show on Shopee Live and 8TV from 10 pm on Jan 24 and stand a chance to win up to 888,888 Shopee Coins.
“Participate in Shopee Quiz and Shopee Shake on the Shopee app to win Logitech Gaming Headset, Le Creuset French Oven and Dyson Tower Fan, or cash prizes up to RM8,888,” it said.
