Currently, It commences at the Sri Muda Hub, followed by the Sri Muda police station, the Jalan Hasrat stop, the NSK supermarket, Petron Sri Muda, Pangsapuri Andorra, and terminates at the Sri Muda Hub.

N Ramamoorthy, 49, said many residents had difficulty moving around because their vehicles were badly damaged in the massive floods that hit on December 18.

“So this state government initiative is really good because it makes things easier for the affected residents to move around, but if it can only be expanded into more areas.

"The more areas it traversed, the more people can benefit from the service," he said when met here today.

"Various things have been done by the authorities to give comfort to the residents, maybe this (bus service) seems small but meaningful for those who having difficulty now like us," she said.

The temporary routes in Taman Sri Muda for the use of local residents affected by the floods began on January 1.

The service runs from 6am to 10pm, with a frequency of once every hour.
