SHAH ALAM, Nov 18 — The iClean Selangor application is prepared for the convenience of the public to get solid waste disposal services online.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said this is a state government initiative to resolve the problem of widespread garbage throwing, as well complaints regarding it in Selangor.
"The app is part of the digitalisation agenda developed for residents to forward any cleanliness complaints in their areas.
"Through it, Selangorians can now request for bulk waste disposal for free, at their fingertips, as well as file any complaints," he said on Twitter today.
Amirudin added he hopes the app and initiative will provide social satisfaction and also raise the quality of societal prosperity.
Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) subsidiary company KDEB Waste Management has successfully managed domestic waste and public hygiene in the state with more efficiency, since the introduction of iClean Selangor in July 2016.
