SHAH ALAM, Oct 2 — Three museums and a monument in Selangor have been reopened to visitors since yesterday, following the state’s shift to Phase Three of the National Recovery Plan (PPN)

The museums include Muzium Pertanian dan Perikanan Sabak Bernam, Muzium Kuala Selangor, Muzium Jugra, and Istana Bandar in Banting, according to the Selangor Malay Customs and Heritage Corporation (Perbadanan Adat Melayu dan Warisan Selangor)

Its information officer Farhani Shamsudin said the visitor capacity at each museum is 15 persons, while 50 individuals are allowed to visit the monument once at a time.

“We encourage visitors to make appointments, as opposed to walking in. They can still visit without appointments, but depending on the number of visitors at the time, they may have to wait,” he said.

Farhani added the aforementioned locations have been decontaminated before being opened to the public. Those who wish to make appointments can contact the corporation’s Public Communications Unit at 03-55190050.

The federal government has loosened the standard operating procedures for Phase One of the PPN, for the creative industry and for fully-vaccinated individuals, starting on September 9.
