SHAH ALAM, Aug 30 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari is scheduled to deliver his winding-up address of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly debate session beginning 2.30pm today.

The state legislative debates had started from August 24, a day after the opening ceremony of the First Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 14th Selangor State Legislative Assembly, which was graced by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj.
On August 22, Amirudin had said that among the focus during sitting is the state’s plans in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic.
Amirudin said that the plans include addressing the challenges brought by the pandemic as well as safeguarding the state’s economic resilience.
The session is held under stringent Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs), which includes requiring attendees to be fully vaccinated and have undergone Covid-19 screening beforehand.
The state government also had provided attendees with a set of saliva-based Covid-19 self-test kits for self-screening purposes at home.
