KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 — The 20 per cent fare discount for the Bus Rapid Transit-Sunway Line (BRT) service introduced in 2018 ends today, according to Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana).
Prasarana in a statement here said the move was taken as Malaysians now enjoy the My30 unlimited travel pass facility which was introduced in June last year with much greater savings.
"With My30, Malaysians can use all Rapid KL public transport services - Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), monorail and all Rapid KL stop-and-go bus services including BRT and Jom Naik MRT shuttle buses without limit by only spending RM30 for a period of 30 days,” said the statement.
The 20 per cent fare reduction initiative introduced by Prasarana was aimed at valuing customers as well as encourage commuters to continue to support public transport services.
