SHAH ALAM, March 18 — The e-commerce platform by the Selangor Digital e-Supply Chain (Seldec) is offering the people in Subang Jaya and Kuala Selangor a variety of nearly 10,000 delicacies and products throughout the Ramadan season.
Its Business Development general manager Mohd Fauzan Elham said its Ramadan e-bazaar programme involves the collaboration with the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) and the Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS).
“The Seldec Kitchen and Seldec Kitchen Rider applications were set up for the Ramadan e-bazaar programme, where 1,500 traders will be participating at the bazaar and at home and will be divided into 40 zones.
"Delivery for each zone is within five to seven kilometres and we have set the order delivery time between 30 minutes to an hour," he told SelangorKini, yesterday.
Mohd Fauzan said the applications will also be expanded for traders at the night, morning and public markets.
Seldec was launched on October 3, 2019, with the aim to help businesses increase revenue through online sales.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said Seldec is used to market agricultural produce, small entrepreneur products and fresh goods on a wider scale.
Seldec, which is led by the Selangor Industrial Corporation Sdn Bhd, connects buyers and sellers directly through the link www.seldec.com.my/en.
