SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari will have a live discussion with two economists in an online forum tonight on the post-Covid-19 pandemic economic recovery.
The discussion to be aired at 8pm will be held with Professor Dr Jomo Kwame Sundaram and Dr Nungsari Ahmad Radhi.
National Journalism Laureate Tan Sri Johan Jaaffar, who is also a member of Media Selangor’s Board of Directors, will be the moderator of the forum titled ‘Post-pandemic economy: Where is the direction?’.
Dr Jomo, a leading economist, had previously served with the United Nations.
Dr Nungsari has 30 years of experience as an academician and was the chairman of Khazanah Research Institute (KRI).
As for Johan, he is generally known for his interviews with Malaysian leaders as a talk show host and was an appointee of the Selangor government’s media agency’s board of directors last year.
Organised by Media Selangor, the virtual forum will be broadcasted on the Facebook pages of Amirudin Shari and Media Selangor, as well as SelangorTV Youtube page.
