SHAH ALAM, Feb 9 — Taman Templer state assemblyman Sany Hamzan has handed out 200 free petrol coupons to food delivery service riders under his constituency.
He said a total of RM1,300 was allocated to refuel 200 motorcycles of 150cc and below.
“Aside from the petrol prices that keep increasing, we also wish to reduce the burden of FoodPanda and GrabFood delivery riders.
“Some of them lost their jobs and had to generate income this way,” he told SelangorKini.
Sany said the constituency is channelling assistance to all layers of the society especially following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO).
The petrol coupon distribution was held on Saturday at the BBS Phase 2A Petronas station here alongside Selayang MP William Leong Jee Keen and the Selangor Amanah Youth.
