SHAH ALAM, Feb 9 — The Selangor government will be revealing a special incentive that aims to assist the entrepreneurs in the state tomorrow at 10.30am.
The public is invited to tune in to the live announcement on Media Selangor or Hijrah Selangor’s Facebook page.
The announcement by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari will touch on the Niaga Darul Ehsan (NaDi) initiaitve and the Go Digital payment.
Last year, Amirudin had announced during the tabling of the Belanjawan Selangor 2021 (2021 Selangor Budget) the NaDi scheme with a total preliminary allocation of RM10 million.
The initiative provides business loans of as low as RM1,000 for the Selangor people to start a business and was further expanded through the Kita Selangor Package, announced on January 20.
The expansion includes assistance to female traders using their temporary permit from the local authorities without any conditional requirements to the premise ownership or certification from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
Meanwhile, the Go Digital payment scheme is a loan for the purchase of communication devices such as mobile gadgets and tablets in line with the state’s goal to grow more digital entrepreneurs.
