KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 19 — National Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique has tested positive for Covid-19 and will undergo treatment and quarantine in Johor Bahru.
National Unity Ministry, in a statement today, said during the treatment and recovery period, Halimah will continue to monitor and ensure smooth running of the ministry's operations.
“The minister expresses her gratitude to all quarters who have prayed for her recovery and apologises for any inconvenience caused by this development,” the statement said.
Halimah had undergone the Covid-19 screening test yesterday and was confirmed positive today.
