SHAH ALAM, Dec 29 — The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj has to date contributed 2,080 books to the Raja Tun Uda Library in Section 13, here.

The Selangor Royal Office in a statement today said that the library is close to the heart of the Selangor Ruler since it was open to the public in 2011.

“His Royal Highness always keeps track of the library’s development and frequently contributes ideas to make it the people’s choice location to seek knowledge,” it said on Facebook.

Yesterday, Sultan Sharafuddin, who was accompanied by the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah, paid an unofficial visit to the Raja Tun Uda Library, including to the fourth level of the building that houses the book collection contributed by His Royal Highness.
