KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 — The allocation approved for the Regional Corridor Development Authority (Recoda) projects from 2015 to this year has totalled RM2.016 billion, according to Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Arthur Joseph Kurup.

He said of the total, RM1.886 billion was allocated as of the second quarter this year, and the remaining RM130.55 million will be channelled before the year’s end.

“Regarding the projects implemented in Baram, there were two that had been completed with the first being the access road project to Baram dam site costing RM234.6 million which was completed in December 2014, and the second, the Integrated Agricultural Station in Baram costing RM30.81 which was completed in February this year, aimed at developing the highland agricultural sector through native crop research in Baram,” he said during Question Time at the Dewan Rakyat sitting today.

The deputy minister said this in reply to Baram MP Anyi Ngau who asked about the development allocation approved since 2015 for Recoda, a state statutory body under the purview of the Prime Minister’s Department.
