KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 — AirAsia Group Bhd has launched a special promotion of 20 per cent discount on all seats for flights within the country.
In a statement today, AirAsia Malaysia chief executive officer Riad Asmat said AirAsia has seen encouraging numbers of domestic travellers as it sold over 500,000 seats during July, particularly with the peak travel period last weekend for the Hari Raya Aidiladha holidays.
“This promo is also timely for university students, parents and lecturers who need to travel for their upcoming semester,” he added.
“We would like to urge all guests to be alert and to obey all safety precautions such as always wearing masks, sanitising and washing their hands regularly and arriving at the airport at least three hours before their scheduled departure,” added Riad.
Meanwhile, customers can book their tickets from now until August 9 for the travel period between August 17 to December 6 this year and AirAsia also provides improved flexibility for guests flying up to December 31 2020, enabling guests to change their flight dates easily at any time without a flight change charge.
