SHAH ALAM, March 23 — The Smart Selangor and PJ City Bus will cease its operations beginning March 24 until further notice amid the worsening Covid-19 pandemic.
State executive councillor Ng Sze Han said the suspension of the services would involve 138 buses on 43 routes for the Smart Selangor Bus service and 32 buses on six routes for the PJ City Bus.
“The decision to suspend the operations is what is best for now in order to lessen the commute of the public during the movement control order period.
“The state government hopes that the public would cooperate and adhere to the order in order to contain the Covid-19 outbreak,” he said in a statement today.
