Shell waives Touch 'N Go reload charges at stations along NKVE, Elite, ECE

SHAH ALAM, Feb 18 — Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd has waived the 50 sen reload fee on Touch 'N Go at all of its stations located along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), North-South Expressway Central Link (Elite) and East Coast Expressway (ECE), Berita Harian reported today.

The move to forego the top-up charges at the stations along the highways is an extension to its recent initiative in waiving the 50 sen fee on all stations located along the North-South Expressway (NSE), effective January 16.

The initiative is also extended to 25 other Shell stations throughout the country.

Shell Malaysia and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd managing director Shairan Huzani Husain said the oil company understands the challenge Malaysians are facing against the rising cost of living.

“We know that it can be difficult to save when the cost of basic necessities such as food, transportation, utilities and education is increasing, which would take up a large portion of one’s expenses.

“This drives us to help people save more and for them to get more out of their journeys. We also hope that forgoing the fee would bring ease to our customers when travelling or fuelling up at Shell during long journeys,” he said.
